Bei mir meldet sich immer wieder "InstallShield Wizard": was bewirkt er?
Ich weiß gar nicht von wo ich den hab; er meldet aber immer wieder, dass er ein update ausüben will, und dann kommt es zu Komplikationen. Wozu braucht man ihn, und wie werd ich ihn los, wen er unnötig ist?

wie Lukas85 schon zitiert hat, handelt es sich bei dem Prozess um ein "Beiwerk" von bereits installierter Software. Du müsstest schauen, welches Programm du zuletzt installiert hast, und von dort aus dann versuchen, ein Update zu machen - also nicht erst warten, bis sich Install Shield meldet.
Wenn du die Meldung abschalten möchtest, musst du auch das jeweilige Programm deinstallieren, oder eben dafür sorgen, dass das Update/die Installation manuell abgeschlossen wird.
